Cousin Andy‘s concert series was conceived as an alternative to the noisy smoke-and-alcohol-filled bars on Carbondale’s strip. Cousin Andy’s is a not-for-profit cultural organization, offered as a community service by Church of the Good Shepherd, United Church of Christ, Carbondale, Illinois.
Cousin Andy’s provides a listening room environment, featuring some of North America’s most talented singer/songwriters. We are privileged to see, hear and meet musicians who perform for large audiences at major venues and festivals all over the world.
Donations from patrons provide support to the artists, enabling them to continue to write, travel, and perform as modern day troubadours.
Concerts take place about once a month, at our home base of the Fellowship Hall of the Church of the Good Shepherd in Carbondale, IL, or at Redbud Hill House Concert venue in Murphysboro, IL. Occasionally, the concert may be held at a local brew pub, Molly’s Pint, in Murphysboro.
Break away from your TV, gather up the family, and come join your friends as the evening comes alive with the sweet sound of live music….
